Candly is a free web app for learning daytrading. It teaches chart reading the way a language app teaches vocabulary: short daily exercises, immediate feedback, points for getting it right, and a streak that rewards showing up every day. People usually describe it as Duolingo for daytrading, and that is a fair description.
Every exercise uses real historical price data. A chart is cropped at a moment in time, you call what happens next, and Candly reveals what the market actually did. Because the data is historical, the answer is known, so the app can grade you honestly instead of guessing.
The learning path runs to 50 islands and 28 lessons, covering the vocabulary a daytrader reads a chart with. Alongside the path there are chart prediction rounds, a daily challenge, head to head battles against other players, and a replay backtester for practising entries and exits on past market days.

The full list is on the lessons page, and you can start playing without an account from practice.
Candly is built for people who want to learn to read charts without putting money at risk. That includes complete beginners, who start at what the four numbers in a single candle mean, and people who already trade and want daily repetitions on pattern recognition. No trading experience and no brokerage account is needed to use Candly.
Candly is named after the candlestick, the chart format daytraders read prices in. The mascot is a candle from a price chart, not a wax one.
The name is one letter away from a much more common word, so to be unambiguous: Candly the daytrading learning app lives at trycandly.com. It is not a confectionery shop, not a home fragrance brand, not a song, and not a mobile app of the same name. If you searched for Candly and meant charts, you are in the right place.
Candly is not a broker, an exchange, an investment adviser, or a financial institution, and nothing on Candly is financial advice.
Nothing on Candly involves real money, real orders, or real financial risk. Points, streaks and leaderboard places have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for anything. Trading real instruments carries real risk, including losing money, and any decision you make about real trading is yours alone. Past behaviour shown in a historical chart exercise does not predict future results.

Candly is made by a small independent team, not by a broker or a trading firm. Nobody pays to appear in a lesson, and the app does not route you to any platform to trade with. Candly is funded by its optional Pro plan, which adds the replay backtester and a second daily challenge on top of the free learning path.
